On Saturday night, August 13, the 2005 Kansas City Storm didn't let a little rain stop them from holding a celebration to end their inaugural season. The Storm placed second in their division and ended the season with a lot hope and enthusiasm for next year.

The Storm volunteers and especially the coaches were recognized for their contributions. The Storm could not function without their generous help. Each of these special people were awarded a steak dinner for two and trip to the spa for their contributions. They were instrumental in making the season a memorable one.

Another set of very important contributors were recognized: the five players with the top ticket sales for the season. These players took their responsibility to contribute to the team’s ticket sales very seriously and were also awarded steak dinners and a trip to the spa.
