The
Kansas City Storm defense shut out the Detroit Predators 20-0 after
the Kansas City Wizards game Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium.
The first touchdown, a reception by Rusty Sowers, was set up by
a Lo Martinez interception. The defense also set up the Storm's
second touchdown by forcing and recovering a fumble deep in Predator
territory. Lindsay Davis rushed for the touchdown and also completed
the two point conversion. In the third quarter, quarterback AJ Thomas
and Rusty Sowers connected for the second time of the evening for
the final Storm touchdown, securing the victory.
The Storm was joined at Arrowhead by Kansas City's Super Fans, First
Down Elvis, X Factor and Red Xtreme! (www.kcsuperfans.com).
The Superfans will again join the Storm at this week's final home
game of the season. It will be this Saturday, June 18, against the
