Two
more coaches have joined the staff of the Kansas City Storm, both
with impressive playing and coaching experience. "We are committed
to providing a quality experience for our players and fans,"
said Nance Wernes, Storm owner, "The addition of these highly
qualified gentleman to our team underlines this commitment."
Michael
Riley
Mike is a three year high school letterman and played collegiately
at Missouri Western. He coached the offensive and defensive line
at Raytown High School and now coaches the offensive line at Avila
University.
John
Howell
John played high school football in Virginia and took several
football coaching classes at the University of Texas after completing
his business degree from University of Oklahoma. He began coaching
in 1982 at the minor league level in Oklahoma City under Ben Hart,
former OU All-American and NFL player. He has worked with all levels
of football from youth teams through high school and the minor league
levels in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. He operated the
Kansas Plainsmen Football Club from 1997 to 2000 and was selected
Coach of the Year in 1998 by the South Central Football League when
they went 11-1. John has former players on European teams, and coaching
at the high school and college levels. |
