& Image Scanning |

Scanning
your photos and images will take them from their current paper format
and transform them into a digital format. While paper format is
measured by inches or centimeters, digital format is measured by
pixels/dots per inch (dpi).
I currently use a HP scanner with resolution from 1200x2400 dpi
optical, up to 9600 dpi enhanced. The current scanning area is a
standard paper size of 8.5"x11". Images can be saved in
jpg, gif, tif, bmp, png, eps or psd formats. Below are examples
of different scanning resolutions: |

The
sample pictures is a regular stamp. All images have been cropped
to approximately 0.92"x0.92", but due to the resolution,
they appear to be different sizes. The scanner defaults to 200dpi,
which usually looks the best.
