Women's football team holding tryouts

A local tryout for the Recreational Women's Football Organization will be at 7 p.m. on Aug. 16 at Lake Shawnee. The tryout will be across from Reynolds Lodge at 29th and Croco Road.

The RWFO consists of a junior varsity team for ages 12 to 17 and a varsity team for ages 18-and-up. The RWFO is a new organization for the 2004 season to prepare women players for spots on the Kansas City Krunch women's semi-pro team.
