Sixth
week of play full of excitement!
The sixth week of play for the National
Women's Football Association saw some surprises. The Columbus
Flames beat rival Baltimore in a hard fought battle 13-0.
The Cleveland Fusion beat the Indiana Thunder, The SW Michigan
Jaguars beat the Toledo Spitfire and the Pittsburgh Passion
beat the Eire Illusion in a tightly contested battle. The
Chattanooga Locomotion beat division rival, the Nashville
Dream 41-8. The Locomotion now leads their division with
a 5-0 record. Amanda Horner rushed for 189 yards and scored
4 touchdowns. The Locomotion had 386 yards in total offense.
The Renegades beat the Summit and the Asheville Assault
scored a victory over the Knoxville Summit. The Panama City
Beach Rumble showed their heart and soul and beat the Biloxi
Herricanes and the Pensacola Power again proved its talent
with a win over the New Orleans Spice. The Freeze won over
the Raptors and The Mass Mutiny beat the Crush. The OKC
Lightning beat the Denton Stampede. The St. Louis Slam and
the Kansas City Krunch
had a close game with the Slam winning 7-6.
